Creative Places is delighted to welcome Nykki Rogers as Head of Life Sciences who has over 15 years of commercial experience in the Life Sciences sector. Her most recent roles have included leading and managing the national inward investment delivery team for Life Sciences on behalf of the Department for International Trade including a year as Chief Operating Officer of DIT’s Life Sciences Organisation.
In this new role, Nykki will focus on existing client instructions, supporting the creation and development of business environments that enhance innovation and enterprise. Nykki will work directly with universities, science parks and biomedical campuses to support the attraction of businesses to further their innovation and commercialisation agendas.
Nykki commented of her appointment: “I have been incredibly fortunate to have spent five years working on the national inward investment strategy for Life Sciences. Spending that time understanding the opportunities and challenges across the UK for attracting Life Sciences investment has given me a unique insight into how clusters are developing. I’m very excited to bring that knowledge to Creative Places to support the growth of client projects. The UK is a global leader in Life Sciences and with the sector at the heart of the UK’s new Industrial Strategy, there’s no better time to be involved in supporting growth across the UK’s key R&D locations.”
Jonathan Burroughs, CEO, Creative Places commented: “Creative Places is experiencing a high degree of growth, particularly from within the Life Sciences R&D sector. Demand for ever increasing research and R&D activity on and near hospital sites sees us spending increasing amounts of time with clinicians and researchers involved in healthcare delivery. We are thrilled to welcome Nykki to the Creative Places team and look forward to delivering further innovation to support our clients’ growth in this sector.”
